2013 Seasonal Catalogue Launch

Hi Everyone

Recently I had the first Catalogue launch for 2013, combined of course with the great rewards of SAL-A-BRATIONS time too, it is the beginning of a few workshops this year.
I'm happy to report that it turned out a successful event, many thanks to my loyal customers.
So here goes a photo showcase. Some of the projects are CASES and I'll credit accordingly, grateful for the inspiration to put such an event together within 2 days amongst my busy working life.

This card was inspired from this project. I love the concept of the 3D hearts.
I love any excuse to use that Hello Doily Stamp, its my total fav. This layout is a case from here

I had a go at making some heart wreaths too.

My hubby called on his morning tea as a surprise while I was having my workshop with a dainty, beautiful bunch of flowers for Valentine's Day!

So I hope you feel inspired with those of my own designs and those beautiful selections I have cased for this launch.

Comfort Cafe Dresden Plate Quilt

Hi Everyone

I have just completed a quilt for my hubby Brett's 50th birthday. I've used the Bigz Die-Dresden Plate, smallest of the two sizes. Each square is 15" in size. I have hand-stitched Bees in the centres to remember Brett's many years as a Bee keeper which had been the case for 3 generations. The fabrics are Stampin Up Designer Fabric- Comfort Cafe. I've added a few plains and blue spot for the sashings and binding.

JAI Scrapbooking Challenge #14 -Lace and Ephemera

JAI Scrapbooking Challenge #14 -Lace and Ephemera

Hi Everyone
Well January is already history and so its time for a new Scrapbooking challenge ...which is to add

 Lace and Ephemera!
It has all be explained so well on the blog site so I'm repeating it all here.
So what is Ephemera you say?

I found this list here for some ideas. but  generally it is charms, watch faces, ticket stubbs, paper clips, buttons, old patterns, material or postcards. The challenge is to put some of these on your Layouts as they are sometimes not acid and lignin free! Thankfully the scrapbooking product makers out there do a range of these items so we can safely put them on our Layouts! If you do want to add non acid and lignin free then we suggest you buffer it with acid free cardstock orcellophane bags or away from your photo and writing.
So here is what I've come up with  to inspire you.The layout features my longtime friend and one time neighbour for many years. I've used new papers too from the current Stampin Up Seasonal catalogue 2013.

Have a great week everyone,

EnjoyRuthyl
