Sugar and.........Spice Cake

Hi Everyone

Stampin Up currently has a new Summer Mini catalogue on the go (see pink catty pic on sidebar) and from the moment I saw these Fabrics and new DSP (Designer Series Paper) I knew I wanted to have a play with it and so I have. Some cards have been inspired by others and you will see credits accordingly.
Here is the collection I am working with....

DSP Spice Cake (             )

they come double-sided - 12 papers - of 6 double designs- as seen below

the collection also has a Fabric collection- 3 complimentry pieces-
and here is what I've come up with so far (yet to get into the fabric swatches, so call back another time for them too)

Schultz Family- Layout for the heritage album

and a collection of cards, some which are inspired by other demos work, and credited accordingly.

Spice Cake of Cards

Autumn Spice - card

Spicy Flower Folding - card (inspired by here)

and another- this one using the oval of the duo set of Designer Frames
(inspired by here)

this one a nice simple design and using a bit of Designer Spice Cake Fabric
(inspired by here)

and for something a bit tricky- It is an interlocking circle card.  What that means is the circles on the front of the card actually "lock" the card and need to be "untwined" to open.
(inspired by here)

A bit of Autumn-like treasure using the Bigz L Die- CandyWrapper
- a nice little arrangement to store some goodies for a pressie or Hostess gift.

Well hopefully that will 'spice' up your mojo as those gone before I have done so in exploring the play with this lovely DSP - Spice Cake.
Have an awesome weekend doing what you love,

Catch up scrapping from old stash.

Hi there

With the holiday break in mind I've been using my time to do a bit of catch up on the past year scrapbooking of our family albums, some seen in previous posts featuring 2011 christmas happenings. Others have been created using up papers etc from my long time stash (not entirely SU) Since this is my only blog these days I am gonna share them here just for fun. Most have been scrapped in 8 1/2" x 11 1/2" size.

Here's one using (SU) DSP-  Big Top Birthday

Well that will do for now on photo overload LOL!
